A few people from the walking group went up to Snowdon on the weekend of the 3rd-5th September. We stayed at the Pen-y-pass youth hostel.
The saturday was misty and drizzly, with moderately strong winds at times. Not really the weather for Crib Goch, so we all went up the Pyg track together.
We stopped at the café at the top for a cup of tea. Not great photos as there was water on the camera lens.
On the way down we went round the other side of the horseshoe, over Y Lliwedd, at my suggestion. While I and a few of the others in the group thought this was a fantastic walk, it was a far more challenging walk than I had thought, and some of the group didn't enjoy it much at all; if I'd remembered what it was like there's no way I'd have suggested it.
Unfortunately my battery ran out here, so I have no photos of the end of the walk or of the Sunday's walk.
