On the weekend of 23-25 September, there was a walking group trip to the Brecon Beacons. We stayed in some cottages near Llangynidr.
This is where we were staying, and the view from it.
We drove to mear the Neuadd reservoir, and did a circular walk taking in the summits of Corn Du, Pen-y-fan and Cribyn.
In the evening we went to the Coach and Horses pub in Llangynidr for an excellent dinner.
When we got back we gathered in the largest of the cottages, to eat Rob's birthday cake.
On sunday morning we drove to Sugar Loaf, just outside Abergavenny, for a short walk.
