There was a walking group holiday to the Wicklow mountains in Ireland at the beginning of September.
We drove to the upper lake car park at Glendalough for Monday's walk. We started climbing almost immediately, initially next to a waterfall.
Having reached a long flattish bit, we stopped for lunch.
It wasn't long after lunch before we were climbing again.
All downhill from here.
There was a ruined village by the lake at the bottom.
