There was a walking group holiday to the Wicklow mountains in Ireland at the beginning of September.
We did a linear walk, starting on the military road just south of Sally Gap, and heading across the bog onto Fancy Mountain.
From the top, there were views down onto Loch Tay.
When we eventually got bored of sitting here admiring the view and taking photos, we headed on down the mountain towards the track between the loughs, and along it to Lough Dan.
We had lunch sitting by the shore of Lough Dan, and then some of us had a paddle in the orange water.
After lunch we crossed the river on stepping stones. Disappointingly no-one fell in - I came closest - but a lot didn't try and just waded across.
Once we were all safely across there was just a gentle uphill to the road where the cars were parked.
We all went out for a meal that evening, at the Coach House in Roundwood.
A long drive home.
