There was a walking group holiday to the Isle of Skye at the beginning of September, staying in self-catering accommodation belonging to the Sligachan hotel.
While most of the group went on a wussy walk somewhere else, five of us drove round towards Elgol and went up Blà Bheinn (occasionally spelt, and always pronounced, Blaven).
No photos of the ascent, because it was pissing down... here we are at the summit
All downhill from here... fortunately the weather cleared up and by the time we got back to the car the sun was out.
