Skye (3/6) - Bruach na Frithe

There was a walking group holiday to the Isle of Skye at the beginning of September, staying in self-catering accommodation belonging to the Sligachan hotel.

Tuesday 2 September

Once again, a hard core - this time six of us - went up a Munro while the rest of the group did something different. We walked out from Sligachan to do this one.

We stopped for a break half way up. The weather wasn't bad at this point, and we could see as far as the Old Man of Storr, as well as having a great view to the right of some very dramatic parts of the Cuillin.

But it started to rain and get foggy; it was quite unpleasant on top and didn't really clear up until we were right back down.
