For the late spring bank holiday weekend (23-26 May) we stayed in a bunkhouse in Corris, on the southern edge of Snowdonia.
On saturday we climbed Cadair Idris.
We drove into Machynlleth in the evening for a meal at the White Lion pub.
On Sunday we drove to Barmouth/Abermaw and up a very steep lane. The walk was around the line of hills (which don't appear to be named on the map) just north of there.
After the walk we went into the town for a cup of tea.
In the evening we drove into Machynlleth for a curry.
On Monday morning we drove to Aberdyfi for a shortish walk, up over the hills and back along the beach.
